To qualify for a SELF Refi Loan, the outstanding external loan must
- Be utilized for a home improvement
- Be greater than $5,000 up to $20,000
- Have been closed within the past 6 months
- Have an interest rate greater than 10%
- Have a term less than 10 years
- Must not have a construction lien on the home.
This is not a consolidation loan to be utilized for paying off multiple accounts. The SELF loan is to be used to pay off the total
amount of the external loan, so clients must qualify for the full amount or at least 90% of the payoff balance.
